On Scrapbooking & Cards:
Scrapbooking was & still is a hobby where almost anything paperish is added to an album or scrapbook pages.

The scrapbooks from the Victorian Era have been widely admired in the scrapbooking communities. A typical Victorian scrapbook could have calling cards, trade cards (an old fashion form of business card), advertisement art, rewards of merit, and more.

Remember, that photographs were not usually maintained in these scrapbooks at that time. Most people then treated photographs with a special reverence as the cost of the photographs were often astronomical.

The following scrapbook is an example of a typical album of the times.
